Hemeixin PCB advantages
Structure of Flex PCBs
1. Single-sided: Conductor on one side of the Flex PCB only
2. Double-sided: Conductor on both sides of the Flex PCB, connected with vias
3. Multi-layered: Unlike rigid PCBs which usually have even layer counts only, Flex PCBs can have an odd number of layers. Flex PCBs with three or more layers allow more complex wiring.
Flex PCB Ordering Advice
If you choose adhesiveless electro-deposited copper as the base conductor with ENIG surface finish. Silkscreen text which overlaps ENIG pads will be made as hollow cut-outs in the pad.
Exposed connector pads should be ≥ 0.2 mm from the FPC's edge. Areas closer than this limit will be removed.
Stiffener and EMI shield are optional additions. These should be described by an individual Gerber layer or a separate CAD drawing, annotated with the material and thickness required in the case of stiffeners.
